CE-AAM keeps automated observation separate from professional assessment. Neither assessment replaces provenance, and valuation is a separate methodology.

A qualified assessor reviews the artwork using the CE-AAM matrix, records evidence and rationale, signs the assessment and issues a numbered certificate.

For automated assessment, the front view is analysed locally in the browser. Front, back and side images are required for the complete artwork record. Minimum 2000 px on each dimension; maximum 30 MB per image.
The human-backed pathway is restricted to authorised assessors. The assessor records the CE-AAM profile, evidence status, confidence and rationale. A server-issued certificate number and assessor signature are included on the certificate.
The Cultural Exchanges Artistic Assessment Matrix separates context, evidence, automated observation, human interpretation and Fibonacci-derived relative weighting.

CE-VAM is a separate valuation methodology. A CE-AAM assessment is the required artwork-quality input; it is not converted directly into a price.
